I have only used the Makita 4329K for a few weeks; however – I can safely assure you, this tool has been put through its paces by me. I have had it sawing through sheet metal, wood along with PVC piping. I can also safely assure you that this tool is one of the best currently on the market in terms of speed and power. While it may not be the best for delicate, intricate work – it’s a real treat to use for rough work.
The Makita 4329K features 3 various orbital pre-defined settings, and this enables the tool to be quickly optimized regardless of the cutting material.
The Makita 4329K sports an impressive 3.9 Amp motor, this provides anywhere from 500 – 3,100 SPM to the blade. The motor provides an abundance of power; for all projects you may use this jigsaw for. There are no noticeable problems with this motor, as many cheaper power tools skimp on the motor in order to reduce costs. However it appears Makita have not skimped. The motor does not heat up, even after cutting sheet metal for a few hours, the outer casing is only relatively warm.
The Makita 4329K features an innovative dial to control the speed the jigsaw operates at, the speed can be varied between 500 and 3,100SPM, to get a great cutting performance regardless of the material or intricacy of the work.
The trigger system controls whether the jigsaw is operative or not, however, for longer work – you can easily switch the lock-on switch, which keeps the jigsaw on so you don’t need to hold the trigger in.
This jigsaw also sports an attractive, lightweight aluminum base. This can be adjusted 45 degrees to the left or the right for only the ultimate cutting quality.
Vibration Reducing System
The Makita 4329K also features a counterbalance system, which effectively reduces overall vibrations, originating from the motor, by up to 50% – this helps aid user fatigue and also hand cramps. This allows the user to use the jigsaw for hours on end, with no damage to themselves.

Makita 4329K Jigsaw Customer Reviews
The build quality of this tool is surprisingly fairly good, it features an ergonomic design, along with various features to ensure the user has the best possible experience. The tool feels fairly firm, and also feels largely durable, and there is no “rattling” from inside, overall this tool is excellently built. Although it is a fairly cheap jigsaw, Makita haven’t noticeably skimped anywhere, and the build quality is no exception. The build quality is one of the best I have seen, even better than some premium jigsaws.
Customers liked it for its simplicity, sensible size and its power and were able to cut through 3/4 plywood
If you are in the market for a cheap and cheerful jigsaw, why not go for the Makita 4329K? It sports the classic bush green color scheme, along with an abundance of features to optimize your experience, and also to create better quality cuts, regardless of the material. The Makita 4329K also has an attractive, ergonomic, compact design – meaning it can be stored almost anywhere when not in use. The large trigger switch can be easily used without constantly having to look for it, and it only weighs 4.2lbs – making it light enough for anyone to use. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone interested in woodwork, whether it be creating cabinets, or restoring old furniture. This is the jigsaw for you.
