12-inch Resaw Capacity
This is a ridiculously large capacity; however, it’s appreciated to know that it can cut huge pieces of wood! It will make you worry less when cutting medium sizes of wood. I found the large capacity excellent, as it suits cutting lots of sheets of wood at the same time, allowing you to create multiple objects with the same size parts.
Drive System
The JET JWBS-14DXPRO sports an exciting two speed, poly-v drive system. This particular drive system is state of the art and often considered one of the best in the industry. There are no problems with it, and the two-speed functionality comes in handy for cutting a variety of different wood sizes.
Upper and Lower Frame
The whole frame has been redesigned. It is also made from cast-iron. While this tool may weight a lot, it’s worth it. The cast-iron frame allows the saw to support even the heaviest pieces of wood. As it is heavy, it’s also extremely stable – I noticed virtually no wobbling while I used it.
Blade Tracking Window
While many blade tracking windows may reflect light into the user’s eyes, making it physically impossible to view easily. The JET JWBS-14DXPRO doesn’t do this. I found the blade tracking window to be one of the best I have ever used. It’s effortless to use and allows for even the most precise cuts to be made.
Blade Guide
This saw features a blade guidepost, and also rack adjustment, alongside pinion adjustment. This makes this saw extremely versatile for cutting virtually any shape and size of wood. It’s nice that the pinion and rack are adjustable in this case, as with many saws, it’s an either-or situation. Meaning only the rack is adjustable, or only the pinion is adjustable. This advanced technology allows for precise, small cuts to be made effortlessly.
Sturdy Table
The large, sturdy table featured on this tool is excellent. Its large work area means it can support virtually any project, it can easily tilt 10 degrees left, and up to 45 degrees right. Allowing for angled cuts to be a possibility; this allows you to fulfill even the most unique demands of any project.
Safety Features
This particular saw features a large range of features for safety and precision. The efficient drive system is precise, and also allows for two different speeds for safe and accurate work. A quick blade release is featured, for safety and to allow the user to effortlessly swap the blade out, without sacrificing precious work time.
